I have been in translation business since 1996. I have performed various language-related tasks performing jobs for the most reputable corporations around the world. I specialize in business and legal documents. However, I have also completed language assignments involving copyediting, education, advertisement and tourism.
I completed a professional translation course in 1996. I served as the president of UTIA (Utah Translators and Interpreters Association) in 2001 and as the Vice President of UTIA in 2000. I am a member of ATA (American Translators Association).
I have traveled in Austria, the Bahamas, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Ecuador, France, Germany, Guatemala, Japan, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Serbia, South Korea, Switzerland, Turkey and U.S.A. I live with my daughter.

Yes.

My native language is Turkish, and I have a native-like fluency in English.

Forty percent of the jobs I deliver are small jobs, such as divorce decrees, university diplomas, court orders or Turkish I.D. cards.

I’d recommend any active member of the ATA. When I get offers for jobs where I have to work with a team, I ask to be matched with a voting member of ATA. On one assignment in the past, I worked with Ecegül Elterman, who is an votingmember of the ATA. She is a competent and efficient linguist, and I’d recommend that you contact her.
